SHARED SOUNDS, 2008
Shared sounds was a temporary public art project that took place in Bundaberg on the night of Thursday the 15th of May 2008. This event was organised by The Crash Crew (Rohan Bridge, David Creed, Kristine Dragland), with the assistance of Artist Melissa Falvey.
Sound recordings were captured in Bundaberg on walks around the town and during workshops with local school students. The raw sounds were manipulated and developed into CD's which were given out to car owners at the Thursday night car gathering in Bourbong Street, Bundaberg. Locals were encouraged to play them through their car stereos.
